i have 150lbs of ingots from shot, 100lbs of pure lead from scuba weight, and 3.5lbs of pewter.
when casting boolits from the shot ingots, i had to add 2% pewter to get good fill out.
how would i mix these components in to a shootable alloy(in ingot form) and something easily replicated when this batch is used up?
should i just treat the shot ingots as pure lead, and the pewter as tin, and make it a #2 alloy, or a 30:1, etc...
it will be mostly for .40S&W, 10mm, .44mag, and a bit for .30-06, .32acp, .45/70.
