Is there a "sticky" somewhere or a program that will tell the MV needed for X bullet with y rate of twist to remain stabalized at 100 & 200 yards ?

I don't know about the sticky but this might help:

Wayne,

The link below is not a chart, rather it is a calculator to estimate either Twist Rate, Muzzle Velocity, or Bullet Length, based on two of the variables and the caliber.

Twist Rate Estimator (http://www.uslink.net/~tom1/twistrate.htm)

Hope this helps,

Geez,

Wouldn't 1000 yards to work with be nice!!! I'd settle for 600 at this point.::smile::smile:

anybody that lives in the west has 1.000 yds easily.
there are places i could go and go rampant with an m-60 in a circle for hours and there would be no danger to hitting anything.
well maybe my truck.
