I'm uncertain whether Redding's identification of their older six-station turret press is "T-6." I refer to it as such for clarity.

Other than alterations to accommodate seven turret stations rather than six, are there significant differences between the presses?

The major difference is the operating system, the older presses used a Pacific linkage, new presses use RCBS type swing arms.

Many thanks for the information. Does the difference in compound linkage make any difference to the person using the press? I think what I'm asking is why did Redding make the change?

Yes, the compond linkage ie: RCBS type makes a BIG difference in effort when resizing cases.
The old linkage is the same as Pacific designed in 1930 at 4 to 1 ratio, RCBS swing arms go over 38-to 1 at the end of the stroke.
