Killed this nice Blacktail 4 X 3 this morning at 45 yds with my Traditions Buck Hunter 50 cal carbine. 80 Grs Pryodex and a Patched .490 RB. Hit in the lungs and broke 3 ribs. One entrance and 2 exit side. RB exited the bottom of the chest. No tracking as he went down, back up, down again and the 360 death spin. Now to help my buddy get his. My 12 year old Chow was trying to get the deer to play with him. Mark

My hunting buddy got a nice spike with his 50 cal using a RB I cast also. No pics as it was pretty ugly. Hit in the neck and it went up the neck and came out the side of it's face. When we draw the BP tags we usually use RB's. If I take my T/C Hawken I usually use a Minnie. Probably won't draw another tag for 2-3 years. Thanks all. Mark
