bll code is :4 bh 35....this would be jan 1941/1963/1990......
serial number is :c64xxxxx
description : high gloss stock, forearm cut checkering, black foreend with white line spacer, grip and butt pad have white line spacers.
(well its not a "pad" but a thick black plaastic plate)
alumin floor plate with trigger guard release
jeweled boltbbl instaled iron sights( rear is graduated ramp and windage on sloted rear)
drilled and tapped....
24" bbl with 0.6 muzzle

ammo with the rifle was dated 1991.......so my best guess is 1990...any clue from serial number or looks ?

hate to tell you this but this will be a donor action with the bbl and stock sold.

Sure would like to buy that rifle from you before it is reworked. Got one in 308 and just love it. Left hand short action Remingtons from that time period are rare. You need to be shooting the ones you got and sell that to me.

I bought a left hand .308 near that time period and I like the rifle a lot . I don't pay much attention to new rifles anymore , but isn't Remington making short action seven hundreds with the large blot face regularly now ?
