I'm looking for parts for No7 Enfields mainly for the bolts.

Anyone know of a source?

I've heard that there is someone in the US making them, but this could be just talk.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Already posted on one of the Enfield forums.
Call/visit Brian at:
www.bdlltd.com

I bought two of the Enfield #7 bolt heads from him. n Brian has been working on getting all the parts made.

Now, what we stateside do (when we really want to shoot the #7) is have the barrel chamber trimmed to fit a Long Branch #7 bolt. The Long Branch bolt is easy to find.

I did it to one of the 20 barreled receivers I bought when Springfield Sporters had the auction some years back.

Good luck!
Now if you find the five shot magizine....... :)

Thanks Mate, got your reply over on Gunboards too.

Don't know why I didn't think of Brian Dick, sometimes the bleeding obvious isn't.

Unfortunately I'm still looking for a No7 parts source as Brian Dick doesn't do them any more.

Therefore any more leads heartily welcomed.

Just to shed some light to this multiple SMLE owner. . . . what is a No. 7??

I have a No. 4 and know the No 5 was the jungle carbine, but I thought that was the
end of the line for the SMLEs. Never heard of a No. 7, or a No. 6 for that matter. i
do have an Indian .308, and a No. 1 mk 3 (IIRC, I am not really too knowledgable on the
SMLEs)

Please help dispel some of my ignorance.

Thanks, Joe.

Didn't know that they made .22 versions.

I cannot even imagine what a replacement clip would cost for the #7. I knew there was such a thing. Never saw one.
Absolutely fantastic!

Grew shooting The No.7 in Cadets Many years ago up here in Canada. We shot them as Single Shots the empties usually fell into the Regular mag. to be emptied later. They were very accurate. Mel

Dromia: could you PM me a list of what you're looking for?

Hi Nora,

thanks for the link, I'll speak with them today but I think those parts are for a No 7C.

The parts I'm looking for are for a BSA No 7 which is different in some respects and as usual much harder to find than the Canadian.
