Cruise missle and Carcano

Giving serious thought to start casting for my Carcano. Have searched and not found any definite information on as cast size for the cruise missle boolit. Any one willing to share the size their boolits drop at?

............. This has come up before and there is NO definative answer. Last time I think it was on either "CB Loads / Military Rifles " or "Casting Equipment". Someone got one of the moulds expecting it to drop at .270 or a bit larger due to previous input but it dropped smaller. The last batch Mid-South got apparently went .270" as one buyer said. It seems Lee does a decent job maintaining the overall design but the OD's seem to vary slightly. Naturally it's possible that there can be OD variations within a completer run of mould also.

Just got mine today, and I couldn't stand it, so a went and cast a few. measured out at .2715 and 174.5 grains. 5 parts stick on wheel weights 2 parts monotype.
