Anyone here shoot a 444 marlin. I have 2 new CBE mold, P.B. cast at .432 and .436, Can size and lub. to size needed, I would like to have someone shoot these in a 444 and post the results. Thanks- Joe

I have been shooting with cast bullets for many years. I like using a 240 grain SWC or RN bullet sized to .431"--I use 17.0 grains of Unique and get just under 1,700 FPS MV. It is quite accurate---In the summer I was popping 3" plates at 250 yards with the rifle/load mentioned, very conssitently. I have loaded to higher velocities, but found it was not necessary for shooting steel plates.
