Ifanybody has this mold, what's the max diameter boolit that it casts. Looks like a good one for my mountain pistol, but it has large throats.

It's going to depend on the individual mould and your alloy, temp, casting style, pouring instrument, etc. Anything anyone tells you is a crapshoot. Keeping that in mind they should drop in the .430-.431 area +/- .002.

Bret is correct. By changing either my alloy or my casting temp I can "adjust" the size my boolit drops by + or - 0.002 the larger the diameter of the boolit the easier it is to do.

You could allso LEEment the moulds to increase boolit size.

Mine casts slightly over .430 with WW.

mine goes .431 with wheelweight.

Pure or some tin combo at .4295

WW at .431

WW + tin .432
