Absolutely. Actually my most favorite round. The G20 really smooths out with a heavier load. I use IMR 800-X. Shoots with an umph verses a quack.

I have plenty of 175gr LSWC to dispose of right now, but I will also be looking for a 200gr mold soon.

I just got a new Delta Elite two or three weeks ago. I can tell you what little I've found out so far about it and cast, but I only have one mould in that caliber.

I knew I was going to get a DE sometime, so I had already bought a used 4-cav H&G 315 mould for it. That mould is supposed to cast a .40/10mm 200 TC bullet, but they run closer to 210 grains with WWs for me, which is just fine.
Ballisti-cast still lists it as the #915, but they show it with a bevel base. I guess my H&G has a bevel base, but it is so tiny that I have to look close.

That's the only cast I've used in the DE. It casts easy and fast, and I like the bullet shape/weight. It's early yet, but it is shooting pretty well.

It's hard to measure, but I'd call the meplat about .245".

It has two lube grooves, which are pretty narrow and shallow, so it doesn't hold a lot of lube. I haven't found that to be a problem yet, though. I've loaded them from 980 to 1170 fps so far.

While I was waiting on the size die to arrive, I shot about 150 of them unsized but tumble lubed in Lars45's LLA-equivalent. They shot great, but at .403 unsized, it made a pretty fat case that hung up without completely entering the chamber sometimes.
I might just get a Lee push-thru die in .401 and use that and LLA.

And that's where I'm at so far with the 10mm and 200-210 grain cast. It's not much info, but more than I had to go on a month ago.

I recently got an LBT mold for a 200 gr. Wide Flat Nose bullet with a GC. This has a much wider metplat than my Lyman 200 gr. TC mould. I think the 200 gr. bullet is the best weight in my 10mm's and while I shoot 180 TC bullets, I like the 200's.

I want one...just not enough to pay the prices I see for molds. I am a lee mold kinda guy (read cheap).

I have been tempted to buy a Lee 2 cavity .410 mold and try sizing them down. Wonder if anyone here has tried that and been happy with the results?

I shoot the 200grXTP in my 10mm but a WFN like the Lee 45/200gr would be a great 10mm lbullet. I know LBT offers such a mold, Lee would make one on special order, maybe Mihec too.

Score! I sell a lot of scrap lead locally. I get far more than I can use, and so I offset the cost of my addiction.

Last night I sold 1200 lbs to a guy locally. Turns out he casts bullets commercially at low volume, and sells them on various auction sites. He as a 215 gr 41 mag SWC, and is going to give me a few to see how they do in my sizing die. If they weather the trip well and load and shoot OK, I will jump into a lee mold.

ive looked at all the mould companies i can find, none list a 200gr wfn for .401/10mm

and i dont know squat about "designing" one.

i looked at lbt's site but its hard to navigate, and didnt see one there either.

any help/advise?

LBT shows a 41/200grWFN. They will make the same bullet for you in .401.
NEI makes a couple that might work: http://www.neihandtools.com/catalog.html
You could also go to MoutnainMolds & design your own. Their program is pretty easy to use.

WFN 10mm? That sounds good to me.
As I was driving home just now, I was thinking about a wider meplat 10mm/.40 bullet. I kept thinking about something like the BD45, but in 10mm/.40 caliber. I'd like to see that.

Maybe make the design in both 180 grains and 200 grains. Get his OK on using the "BD" name and design, then call the 180 the BD40 and the 200 the BD10, just for identification.

Barry, I gotta ask...Where in west central Indiana are you? I grew up in a little town named Bridgeton, in Parke county.

I'm more or less in the middle between Plainfield and Greencastle.
Or, in shooter's directions: I used to buy guns at "Have Guns will Trade" off the square in Greencastle and now buy them at "Plainfield Shooting Supplies".

I never know what to put for location. If I say "central IN" people think that's Indianapolis, and if I say "west" it sounds like Terre Haute.

I know where Bridgeton is. Dad bought a Farmall 300 around there several years ago.
Then there was the time when I was a kid that dad got lost around there and we must have passed through Bridgeton five or six times that day...and night.
Pretty area. You have a little maple syrup flowing in the spring too.

Cool. If you got lost around Bridgeton, you probably drove right past my house (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=47836&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=65.008093,68.466797&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Bridgeton,+Parke,+Indiana+47836&ll=39.629967,-87.154112&spn=0.001971,0.002089&t=h&z=19).

My grandparent lived in Greencastle (http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=39.659143,-86.830082&spn=0,359.997911&t=h&z=19&layer=c&cbll=39.659412,-86.830341&panoid=YSxXXTvRsP5cHrE5myunuA&cbp=12,143.52,,0,5) when I was growing up. Grandpa worked at IBM. They lived just east of town, and I spent plenty of summers there practicing markmanship on sparrows.

I also have an aunt and uncle on the my mom's side of the family who still live in Greencastle. My church frequently had summer programs at the University there as well. Been years since I was there.

I think west central is the perfect description for where you are.

I have an old LBT 4-cavity mould in 0.401-200-WFN (no gas check). I use this bullet in 10MM auto for an EAA Witness and also in 10MM Magnum in a modified S&W 610 revolver. I really like the bullet, it is very accurate. There were no 10MM gas checks when I ordered the mould. I get no leading at almost 1400 fps from the magnum case and WC-820 powder, so don't think a gas check is necessary. Ransom rest groups are among the best of what I shoot. The mould is currently not cheap, but definitely the way to go, IMHO.

I still don't think they do, Gator?

The LBT mould use .416" gaschecks. They get sized down but work fine on the 200 WFN's I cast. I am running them in my Glock 20 with a BarSto barrel and in my 6.5" 610.
