Anyone using this in a guide gun? Any suggestions? I have 3031 and Varget. I'm not interested in max thumpers.

I do not have that mold but have a Lyman mold that with my alloy casts right at 420 gr. I have used 42 gr of 3031 for a load in the 1309 to 1400 fps range in both Marlins and a ruger #3.

I agree with NickSS. I shoot alot of RD420's with 41.0 3031 out of my Guide guns and 1895's gets me around 1400 and have never recovered a boolit from an animal that I shot with it.
