I have tried 43, and 44 grs. H4895 in my 1895 Cowboy. Groups at 50 yds. were 1.1, and 1.0 respectively. This gun has been a PITA, but it shows the boolit has some promise. I lapped my sizer out, as my Marlin has a huge throat. I load them at .461".

Over 21 grains of SR4759 it will do better than 2" at 200 yards. The boolits were gorgeous. I polished/deburred the cavities to get them to drop easier. Heckuva nice mold out-of the box. I wish I'd had more time over the summer to play with it.

JSnover, I have that same mould in both the plane base and gas check. What kind of gun did you use and what size, alloy etc.

I've been very happy with mine so far. Shoot very well with 2400- forget the load- giving me about 1350 fps. Accurate and little recoil.
Will be going to Canada in May for black bear. Will know more then but am sure it will do great. Will most likely go with Benchmark for powder as I'm starting to like that in my Marlin. Will be aiming for about 16 to 1700 fps.
