IIRC, you wrote an article for Handloader a while ago and you wrote about some revolver throat gauges. I think it was sort of a pizza box with a bunch of precision ground cylinders.

If my "clear as mud" description is sufficient, can you tell me where you got it?

Several threads here on pin(plug) gages. Here is one that I started a couple of years ago. Was a big help. Do a search for pin gage or plug gage. You will find enough to keep you in reading material for awhile.

I ended up getting mine off ebay. It is a name brand set but is missing a few. Luckily, they weren't any that I had any use for with guns.
