I'm considering getting a BRP mold with 2 different .458 cavs, one of which might be the .458 210 RN PB "Gallery" CB for "light" .45-70 uses out of Marlin 1895 and NEF/ H&R HandiRifle.

Anyone with any experience or opinions (please differentiate between the two if you would please...).

My 210 grain boolit is the same as the former GB one done a year or so back. It was designed by 45 2.1. You may want to do some searches and see if you can find any info on it. I've shot a few of them out of my 450 Marlin GG using data and loading techniques I got from 45 2.1. If you get a mold, you may want to PM him for the specifics. I was able to get sub inch 50 yard groups with them. Great little plinker. Drops about 30" at 100 yards and goes unstable at about 135 yards. Like watching giant Red Ryder BB's arcing through the air.:D

Lots of experience with it, the collar button and RBs through the 4570. I hunted squirrels all one season with it and had a lot more than two familys could eat. Like BABore says, its quite accurate when loaded correctly. Its easier to load and drive faster then the other two also.

What kind of velocities were you driving them at?

Haven't chrono'd them, but it would seem in the 6 to 700 fps range.
