Ruger BH. 2400 powder. 125gr boolit. Only info I can find is in the lyman cast handbook for a 121gr boolit start load at 13gr max at 16.4gr. Does the %10 rule apply here?
Also, can 2400 be used in the 38spl cases for regular 38 loads. No data on that boolit in the 38 with 2400. If not I got plenty of unique and 231.

thanks

2400 can be used for .38 loads........but it is less economical than the other powders....it also tends to leave unburned granules which can cause problems if the wind up under the extracter star of a hand ejector double action.

I have loaded lots of 125 gr bullets in my 357s and 38s most were cast ones but I have used J word as well. I do not however use much 2400 as I prefer H 110 for mag loads. I know that the Speer manual has data for 125 gr bullets but if you do not have it try the Speer web sight.
