View Full Version : How likely is it, I'll ever get my hands on a 462420 mold?

I wish I could've gotten in on the 462420 "group buy".

Without knowing a lot about casting, the bullets from the 462420 just seems like a good performer based on the reading of y'alls stuff. I like the fact that it drops larger than .458-.459 right outta the mold. Can this mold be purchased now through any supplier? It wouldn't have to be a 6-cavity mold.

Was there a "group buy" on a very similar, lighter bullet? Like somewhere in the 350gr-370gr range? I don't necessarily need such a heavy bullet as the 405+ one.

I'm hunting large wild hogs and suspect that a 350-375 grain bullet will poke clean through any pig out there. Am I correct?

If the molds for either of these particular bullets is no longer available, WHAT would be a good alternative? It has to drop at least at .461 using wheel weight material.
