Not bad. Third bullet from the left has some impurities or wrinkles near that one band, but overall pretty dang good.....and you know what? You'll only get better.

Welcome to the forum!

Those boolits look pretty nice, but before you shoot any you had better send a few 100 or so to me, and I will run some field tests with them.:kidding:
Some of those bases look a little rounded. Just be sure that the gas check crimp on there nice and tight.

I wonder if you could shoot those without the gas checks?:kidding:

P.S. Boolit number 5 in the front row has a dented nose, but no big deal. Good work!

Constructively, a little more practice and you will be giving the commercial casters a run for the money!

I'd shoot them all and be happy about it!

Thank you for your service to our country.

First welcome. For your first cast I say, koodoo's. Nice boolits. Anyone of them can be loaded and fired with good results. I do notice a little bit in the parting lines, and a little impurities in some. Check your molds for any little burrs and make sure your blocks are closing square. Other techniques like fluxing, alloy temps and mold temps will come with experience.
What mold are you using?
Overall, not bad at all. Great job.
You're hooked now.

I use the same mold and really like the boolits. Mine is an old one holer and a little slow but I'm a little slow to.
