I have several that I bought years ago when Midway miss priced them for a few days

It is nice to be able to write down the depth you are using , to go back to it
If you are playing with OAL or change bullets

But IMO unless you are shooting a super accurate gun and YOU are also
Or change bullets a lot
Though nice , IMO not worth the $$
As I keep a dummy loaded round to set my seater for all my normal loads

A Micrometer stem makes it easier to adjust seating depth, no more. And that's compaired to the fact that we can make those same depth changes just as well if not quite as easily with the standard stem.

I have a few. Mostly they just impress the dog poop out of people the first time they see you loading at the range and dialing in .010" of boolit jump +/-.

I like'm. Have three at present , quik & presice to make that Tweek adjustment. If you decide to get one try the Forrester one is twice the spread of most others. ! rev= .025, most others that I have seen or .050 per 360º. I have several loads & bullets that I rotate in 3 wildcats & they make it easy & quick to get the exact seating depth for all. My 2¢. Russ.

I bought one in a moment of weakness. It works as advertised but then again knowing the thread pitch and counting revolutions of the seating stem does too.
