I'm in the market for a new barrel for my pistol. Has anyone found a good source for barrels and stuff? :?:

There are a couple of places you might look, but much will depend upon what you want. IE: factory or custom? wildcat or standard? length with or without a brake.

many of these can be answered by checking out midwayusa, grafs, and such for factory and standard cartridges, and places like SSK or Gary Reeder for the wild stuff.

there is also the TC custom shop, which I think has bulberry barrels.

Hope this helps,
Jim

Match Grade Machine makes great aftermarket barrels that don't cost much more than OE. Gary Reeder also makes Encore barrels. EABCO has both factory and custom barrels. But for performance and turnaround MGM gets my vote.

I had great service and the prices were good at Eds TC. I highly recommend him.

Another plus one on Match Grade Machines. They are the guys who used to be Virgin Valley.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the help.

Right now it's a toss-up between a 375 Win and the 300 Whisper. In either case, it'll be almost exclusively a lead shooter. :D

300 Whisper I have both of them and personally I think the Whisper has the optimum case capacity for punching paper and making those little groups. If you are going to go hunting then it's a no brainer 375 Winny.

Go to Bellm TC site. Tons of info on how to make them really work
