Is that a model 99? Nice rifles! Didnt sell well over here though.

They made a big splash in the magazine covers a few years back. Then they fizzled. From all accounts they were extremely nice rifles, but I've never seen one in person.

same here never seen one execpt in magazine ,it's seem that blazer is the leader in strait pull

the rifle is a Mauser 96 strait pull. it has an AR-15 type rotating bolt.
looks like it's never been shot has box. And 3x9 Redfield scope on it.

Do you perhaps mean a model 66 with the telescoping bolt, not really a straight pull is it? There's also an upgraded version the 86.

Box says it's a Mauser model 96 strait pull. Does not seem to be that old of a rifle.
It's not a Milatary rifle its a sporting rifle.. Jeff

I had one, a .30-06. It was very accurate, nicely light, and acceptably well made. That *^^&*(^ bolt handle though, was always in the way, carrying, or storing, and was too far forward for fast repeat shots. I killed a couple of mule deer with it, then sold it to finance a CZ452. Still got the CZ.
