bulk solder What to do?

I just got these several pounds of bulk solder and 50/50 bars. I have no idea what percentage it is. What should I do with it? I could use it as a pot sweetener or Throw it in with my smelting.
Is all solder a tin/lead mix? I know the bars are 50/50 tin/lead.

There are quite a few lead free solders these days so it could be many things besides lead.

I had the same issue. Me and another member her broke out the solder % melt temp chart (I dont have this handy but Google for it). We slowly brought the temp up and when thigns melted at a certain temp we knew what it was. I found out I have about 70 pounds of 60/40 and a little 95%. :)
