Ran across a ingot of lead at a pawn shop today. It is the size of a standard mortar house brick. Can anyone tell me a approx. weight. He wanted 10.00 for it.
"Deal or No Deal". Thanks in advance!

I'm going to guess abought 18lbs. But since it's in a pawn shop see if they have a scale.
BTW what prize do I get if my guess is right LOL. FB

My cardiologist has a bunch of these bricks in the nuclear tracer room on a special table. All have a weight stamped on them, 25.3, etc. With lead selling to you at about a buck a lb. or so, ten bucks isn`t that bad. If you are selling to a junk dealer you may get .25 a lb. Supply and demand on the free market of buying and selling. If you need lead then get it.Robert
