OK, Now I need a thermometer. I just came home on R&R for a couple of weeks and I need a casting thermometer. I had a lyman and it is froze in place. Any recommendations?

Go to True Value and get a 750 degree King Kooker.

Hit the Rotometals link at the top of the page and type thermometer into the search bar. Theirs is about $36, I think. There are cheaper ones to be had, I'm sure.

muddy creek sam just told you where.I must check it out as I tried taylors and could not get an answer.I have a taylor but no part no.

You can get a K Theromcouple and 6" Porbe. 2 seperate itmes that will read to 752F on e-bay for about 43.00 plus shipping. They work great and the digital read out is easy to see.
