Winchest 94AE cycle 44 Specials?

Will a Winchester 94AE chambered in 44 Magnum cycle and function with 44 Specials?

The .44 Special case mouth is probably getting hung on the lifter in your .357.

Try polishing it up a bit, and maybe a stronger spring.

My 357 will feed 38 specials loaded with the Lee 158 RNFP seated to the crimp groove fine. It will jam more often than not with everything else that I have tried. It is an older model Rossi.

My 94ae will feed both Mag& spec. 44. Even wadcutters.

i tried necking it down and beating the lever closed then gave up and went back to 357 cases.
