I received one evening before last - thought a couple of you might like to read my initial write up at http://www.sunrisearchery.com/Apex.htm .

call cva and ask what pressure the bbl is proofed at. a 3-pellet 150gr. charge of t-7 can generate 29,000 psi. if the bbl has not been proofed for this type of pressure i would hesitate to shoot it. they have had some bad problems with spanish bbls.

Little Bill, I'm well aware of the publicity been given to a few CVA barrel problems. The Apex has a Bergara barrel made of 416R stainless steel. I've no doubt about its strength.
