Hi ,,,
Im a bit out of touch with the shotgun side of shooting,,,
I was wondering if the 16 ga shot shells are still being manufactured or if reloading presses and components are also available?

I have heard that the 16ga was being phased out,,,any truth to that??

thanks

Shells can be found but they are not stocked as well as 12 and 20 gauge. Reloading supplies can be had like wads and hulls but again they are not as common or as big of a selection.

thanks jh45gun....
I found a really nice 16ga H&R break open (#8) single shot, but I dont like wall hangers, so it has to be a shooter and ammo has to be available.
This H&R had the best balance of any shotgun I have ever fielded, and it felt light to carry
thanks again

The local "Mart" store has Remington 1oz (#6 or#8) 16 gauge shells. I shoot a LC Smith SXS and just bought nearly a lifetime supply of wads from Midway. Lee loaders come up pretty often on evil bay.
