Ok, before everyone piles on because I should be casting these myself, I want to try them before I set myself up with a mold, sizer, etc.

I'm looking to buy 10mm cast bullets heavier than 200 grains. I know molds are made in the 210-230 grain range, but I haven't been able to locate boolits sold as such. Any help?

[Oh, and somebody is going to ask "Why?". And the answer (which I learned from my parents long ago) is "Because". Actually, I want to try them in my S&W 610 on bowling pins.]

Thanks,

Thanks for the Double Tap link ... but holy smokes, $22 per 100? I realize they're gas checked, which certainly drives up the price.

I was hoping for something a little less pricey. Plain base will work just fine.

Should you want to consider casting some boolits yourself, NEI has one .401 mould that might meet your requirements. It's listed on the NEI site as .401-225 #201A and appears to be a TC BB design with one large lube groove. I've included a capture of the diagram of this boolit as shown on the NEI site.

NEI will cut it bevel or flat base if you don't want the bevel.

Thanks, folks. It looks like Jerry can set me up with some 220's to try.

And it was this NEI mold I was originally considering. So if all works out, that's the direction I'll go.
