I'm thinking of buying a H & R Handi rifle in 45/70 and a smaller cal.

I was thinking of 223. I have always wanted a 243 but I haven't seen too many moulds talked about in 243.

If I can get a decent mould in .243 I will use it for both cast and jacketed boolits.

I'm unsure on powder that I will be able to run the 243 slow enough for cast as well.

Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

Take a close look at Saeco 6MM(243) mold I use it in a 1-10 6MM BR Rem. at about 2000 for 1.5-1.75 10 shot groups at 100.
I would think CBE in your neck of the woods would have a good 243 mould also.
