I have had this book for many, many years. It was copyrighted in 1961 so it is a bit dated. However, most of it works just fine today. It is done in a "around the campfire discussion" type of format, kind of folksey by three VERY knowledgeable types (Henry B. Stebbins with Albert (Bert) J.E. Shay and Oscar R. Hammond. It covers all types and all uses of the handgun with a strong emphasis on reloading including "special
loads".

Hadn't read it in a while, so it is a bit like reading a new book. If you get a chance to read a copy, do yourself a favor, and do it. You'll absolutely enjoy.

It sits near my bed along with the companion book on rifles by Mr. Stebbins. Great books, great format and style.
