New Molds Tried Today

It's a pretty day in VA today. So I decided to cast some .
I had five molds I'd never used before . So they were the ones that got used ;

Saeco mold #322 (118gr RNFP) for the 32-20

Lyman #311419 (90gr FP GC) also for the 32-20

Lyman #319247 (165gr FP ) for the 32-40

Lyman #321297 (180gr FP GC ) for the 32-40

Lyman #429650 (300gr SWC GC) for 444 Marlin

Cast about 100 of each , :drinks:

The 311419 and the 321297 were used when I got them .

But the other three were virgin molds.

All five performed very well :-D

I like those 322's - one of those and 5 grains of Unique have always gotten along well in my Marlin 1894CL. They look pretty much exactly like the group buy Lee 32-120(forgot the designation) Stan

Tried some more new molds to me today,

1. Lyman #257325 - cast about 75

2. Lyman #311316 - cast about 150

3. Lee 7mm Soup Can - cast 60

4. Lee RD #TLC460-425RF ,did 50

5.Lee RD #TLC432-285RF , did 50

6. Lee RD #TLC359-180RF , did 50

If they shoot as good as they look I've got it made :drinks:


The two Lyman molds were old used ones but new to me . All the Lee molds were virgin.
