I just picked up a one hold 358156 mold. It also says Lyman and 521 on it. Now to find a handle to fit. I know that the older ones sometimes were off sizes. What are the chances of getting a Lee six hole handle to fit this mold? Aside from looking a little goofey with a small mold on the end of the long nose do you think they would work.
Thanks a Million,
Rex

If the slot is 5/16" the Lee handles will fit.

LEE six-cavity should work just fine.

I use them on old IDEAL and LYMAN single cavity moulds all of the time. A small amount of filing may be needed.

I actually prefer the "goofey" length for single-cavity HP moulds ! :) :)

so.....not to highjack a thread, but I bought a Lyman/Ideal 311467 single cavity, the regular Lyman DC handles don't fit? No, I haven't tried them yet ;-)

Just been there...

Got an old Lyman mold off eBay and was looking at handles when I noticed on the Lee box, "fits other brand 1 & 2 cavity molds"...

Tried it, perfect fit... and yeah, it looks a little odd but no where near as expensive as geninue Lyman handles cost in th UK...

Yes Lee handles will work, or can be made to work with just a little grinding.

lyman sells a single cav mold handle, and their two cav handles can be made to fit as can rcbs mold handles.
don't be afraid to modify stuff a little.

Lee six hole handles and a few gas checks are on the way.
Thanks for the knowledge.

Have several older Lyman single cavity mold handles I would part with but they cost more than new Lee handles.

shoot me a PM on what you would want for a pair. I tried my Lyman 2 cavity handles on my single cavity and they seemed to fit and work, so I don't know if I need them or not.
