What is this Lyman mould? Best I can measure .243 and marked "30 S".

It's a core mould for casting cores for swaging bullets.
SO, how does it shoot? ;)
(I have a couple in larger diameters.)
Idea/Lyman made some bullets (with grooves) that were adjustable in length much like this.

Plain base, large meplat but the loob grooves are a bit shallow. Contact Waksupi for the loob grooves...Ray

It's a core mould for casting cores for swaging bullets.
That's what I thought it might be. Talk about a labour of love! CAST a core THEN swage a bullet.
I found it in the cupboard at our handloading club.

due to lead wire cost, an awful lot of swagers, myself included, are casting cores using a Corbin 6-cavity adjustable mould. Doing them like that in a single cavity mould would definitely be a labor of love... 'course it would turn into a love/hate relationship for me in about half an hour.
Neat mould, I'd have it just to show it off to folks.
