A couple days ago I had an exterior chimney taken down. When the mason was done, I brought him and his son a cold drink. My wife was with me and I noticed the roof flashing was still attached to the shingles. I elbowed my wife and said, " Look lead". The mason saw me and asked if I wanted it removed because he new I would need to do some roof repairs. I told him I was a boolit caster and he said he had some more lead at home that I could have. I've known him for years and knew where he lived, so I went that evening to get the lead. He thought he had two boxes but it turns out he had four. Seeing that he had more than originally thought, I offered to buy it from him. So for $40, I end up with 250# of dead soft lead...Ray
