I just started casting and bought a 6 cavity TL358-158-SWC.
I am tumble lubing them.
A friend let me borrow his 358-105-SWC non TL mold.
I have cast a couple hundred 105's and would like to know if Tumble lubing them is adequate for 38 target loads or do I need to set up to pan lube them.
Thanks for the replies.

I have TL them with no leading issues. TL works on most any bullet and you can put regular lube on a TL bullet too. Good plinkin bullet and accurate too.

I tumble lubed that boolit before I got a lube-sizer. It worked fine, as has tumble lubing with every boolit I have tried it with, designed for it or not.

I tumble lube my 105'ers after sizing them, but I do currently get some leading on the lands near the muzzle.

I suspect this is caused by straight ww alloy and girlie charges.
I'm gonna try a bit more oomph in the ransom rest tomorrow (up to 3.8gr VV310) and check for leading. In my case the jury is still out..

Oh Yeah!!

Lube 'em, load'em, shoot 'em, repeat.

I run my TL boolits through a LEE .358 sizer for uniformity. Not necesssary always mind you, it just prevents the oversize boolits from when I didn't completely close the mold, from not chambering.

I size mine to .356 for my 9mm's and .380. Always tumble lube them and have never had any leading issues with them. I USE 4.5 grs of Titegroup in my 9's and 4 grs of #5 in my PPK/S. One of my most accruate boolits.
