CVA Apex

I've been looking on the net hoping to find something for my son for Christmas.
I was on the CVA website and looked at the Apex and it seems to be a good deal for the money.
Has anyone here had any experence with this gun?

I have been looking for/at them also now that Knight (KP1 model) has closed their doors... I can't warm up to the T/C Encore and the NEF's of which I have two...The CVA is not a bad looking rifle and with a custom stock it could be made into a great looking rifle...
