steyr mount?

has anyone come up with scout mount for a steyr m95. I did fit a modified mosin mount as suggested but not happy with my workmanship. I have none of the right tools. Need to set down with a file and good vice and make one up.

Go over to Parallax Bill's forms and look for Darryl's scout mounts. I don't think he makes one for the Steyr, but you will see pictures and one of the others may be able to be modified to fit the Steyr.

Unfortunatly, there is no commercially available scout mount for the m95s. Darryl has good products, but not for the m95 Steyr. I have spoken to him about the M95, and he is not interested. The main problem is the different rear sights. Many M95s are made from cut down long rifles, and others are purpose built carbines. The sights are different, and are not interchangable. There are a bunch of both out there, hence the problem making a standard mount. Too bad for us....
