Very nice mould and thanks Swede for making it for us. I don't have a 35 cal rifle right now or I'd be all over this. I've done this before - buy a mould, then get a rifle/ pistol for it, dies, brass, etc - $50-75 mould winds up costing $1000. It is a sickness. I don't have a spare grand right now, but I'm still trying to convince myself to buy this mould "for later" when it won't be available. A free bump for now - see if I can come up with a spare $75 or so in the next week or so..........and then a new Win m70 Featherweight redone in 358 and a nice compact Leupold on top........in the end this going to cost way over a grand................Thanks - Bill L

Oh boy - trying to resist on this... I'm in the "don't have a .35-something but want one" boat myself. I "need" this like I need another - nevermind - but I sure think I want one... I'm with Bill - If I get an overactive itch in the next couple of weeks I'll jump, but for now I'm on the sidelines. Tempting...very tempting...

Swede,

I'm in for two.

#1. 3-cavity mould, with 1 of the 3 cavities hollow pointed please.

#2 2-cavity mould, with 1 of the 2 cavities hollow pointed please.

The number 2 mould will be a gift to a friend so both will be shipped to my address which I will provide with payment. Can you still include a top punch, Bull Plate lube, etc., with each mould please?

Also, do you have an estimate as to shipping and when would you like payment sent? Thank you.

Any chance these will ship for Xmas ?

Swede's shipping schedule indicates the very end of the month, but they have had a few problems with another mould so there is a couple days lag time.

NOE is delivering at an amazingly rapid pace !

I also received mine today, beautiful job Al.
After cleaning and breakin ran a few with my WW alloy to get some measurements.
As cast weight 285-286grs., diameter .3605-.361", shank diameter .3435-.344".
Boolits fell like rain right from the start.

Received both of mine today as well. My 3 cavity looked great. I'd ordered a 2 cavity for a cousin. On his the cavity that had been hollowpointed looked like it had been either lapped or it had some oil/grease in it that had been wiped out (but not all the way). The cavity did look different than any of mine or the other cavity in the block, but I didn't have time to really check it out carefully. I told him I'd send it to him and I'd let him clean out the caivty and cast with it and if it has a problem dimensionally I know Swede will stand behind it. I'm guessing it will clean up just fine. They look like really nice moulds and I'm excited to see how this thing casts after I get it broke in with the heating and cooling break in regimen.

Swede, any problem using a hot plate (with a chunk of steel on top of the burner to sit the mould on) to heat it up and cool it as long as you stay within the prescribed temperature rating?

What can I say, this mold casts as nice as any of the 35 or 40 molds I have. The size is right where it's supposed to be. They weigh right at 289grs + or - less than 1gr. My 358NM should be very happy with a diet of these.
