Hello all! I've been stalking the boards for a while and have now come in from the cold.
I've been reloading for the past 15 years for 22 and 30cal rifles, pistols from 32SW long to 480Ruger, and I also load 12ga shotshells. I cast virtually all of the bullets I shoot for pistol and rifle, and I especially enjoy loading and shooting the larger revolver rounds.
I have a background in casting and foundry work with a variety of metals, and for applications from jewelry to machine parts to artwork, and if you can melt and pour it, rest assured that I've cast bullets with it at some time or another. I also swage my own rifle and some pistol bullets, and hope to be able to share my experiences with this in the swaging forum, and I know there's still plenty more for me to learn.
I was taught to shoot when I was a wee tad of 11 by a family friend and retired FBI shooting instructor. Six years ago I received a NRA pistol instructor's certification. It's been a lot of fun ever since.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi and I hope all is well out your way!
Eric
