i am kind of a neanderthal when it comes to computers and new to the boards so here goes with the stupid question; how can i tell if my message has been received if i reply to pm? other than the little replied to icon i mean. have replied to one and when i check back it brings up the message but not my reply. sorry to waste your time but as i said-i'm kinda dum. thanks for your patience and assistance, bubba.

well your looking at messages recieved go to the messages sent and you will see your reply with the orignal message. steve k

about 98% of my computer training was here,the other 2% was in learning to unplug the vcr so it would stop blinking 12:00.

There is no way to tell if a PM is received/read. You can only tell if it has been sent.

unless your admin and can send a read receipt with your pm's.

thats not funny john... the very first vcr i bought, the oldest daughter though was a great place to keep her berrets,at least i got to watch one movie on it...

Dromia, Cellotape is called Durex here in Aus. My wife just about fell over when a tradesman who was doing some work in her office asked her to pass the Durex! Of course he meant the sticky tape but she didn't know that, she had only been in Australia for a couple of months. She still has a good laugh about it, 40 years later.
