I have a nice Cz bolt gun in 7.62x39.

I also have a bunch of 30-30 170 grain fn gc boolits (Laser cast boolits that I crimped gas checks on and lubed with LLA) and also a 210 gr Lyman .310" gc mold.

Anybody work up loads for a 7.62x39 bolt gun? I saw the sticky about the AK/SKS loads....

Go to The Cast Bullet Association website, register and look in The Reloading Cookbook for the 7.62x39 Subsonic 200-gr. Bullet thread. There's an attachment of the data pulled from a Handloader article on 159- to 217-gr. CB's (all supersonic) in the Ruger bolt-action. I can't post it here 'cuz it's an Excel spreadsheet and too big (Hint to moderators) and a Word table won't register properly here (Another hint to moderators). Jump on me and show me the way if I CAN post spreadsheets or tables here. PLEASE. Me fingers is gettin' tired of typin' in Word.

I have some cast bullet data for my little CZ but just with the bullets I had on hand. I got a 200 gr. mould but havent had time to try it out yet so I probably can't help you. Here is what I used:

115 gr. Soup Can from a 6 cavity GB Lee mould
130 gr. Lyman
155 gr. C.E. Harris from a GB 6 cavity Lee

I loaded Red Dot, Unique and the old Accurate surplus powder 2200 and just picked some loads to gather some data.

I have chrono data also. Let me know if it might be useful to you.
