I'm loading some 44/40 for an old revolver I have. I noticed some of the brass I got at a gunshow have large primer pocket holes. 1/8" drill shank will not fit, but 7/64" shank does. I'm going to load these with Pyrodex.
Should I just scrap the brass with the large holes?

Thanks for any hep!!! Condorjohn

The brass with the huge flash holes was almost certainly used to load blanks or wax bullet loads.
It should not be used with any bulleted (or boolited) load.
