I just bought one of these off the Lee closeout site, nice mould, one of Ranch Dogs rejects I suspect because it casts about 457 dia. I am probably going to "beagle it" as I wanted the 460 size. My question is. did anyone have the foresight to download Ranch Dog's data for this boolit ?? I did get the info for the 35 cal. but didn't get this one. If anyone has it, I would appreciate a copy. Maybe the info on all the Ranch Dog molds could be put in the archives here ? If this works anywhere as nicely as my 35 cal. I am going to be real happy.

I've used H322 with a 340 gr boolit in the 45-70 and it worked well, I am partial to SR4759 though................. If memory serves right ranch Dog was getting good results with IMR3031, I think ???? It won't be that big a deal to work up a load, I just wish I had downloaded and saved his results.

I'm also partial to SR4759 with both the 420 amd 340 gr. RD boolits.

My load in my 1895 Marlin GS in 45-70 is the Ranch Dog 460-350Gr with 52.0Gr of H-322 in a Remington Case with a Fed 210 Primer. :)

I don't have my load book handy to tell you what charge I use
But 4198 works well with that boolit in my contender

Hey, guys, I actually had the time to work on my web site (http://www.ranchdogmolds.com) this morning and a lot of data is back up. I will be cleaning things up as time goes on. I'm still alive and well, working on bullet designs for all my Marlins and Saturday Night Special pistols! I have not added any pressure data this year, my 100K pistol/rifle primer order went unfilled. My shooting season is over and I'm gearing up for hunting season.

This year I added Marlin 1894s in 41 Rem Mag and 45 Colt and I'm waiting on the arrival of mold for those along with my 22 caliber bullet for my Bee and Zipper. My 338 Marlin Express molds are on order but I still have not obtained the rifle or any reloading components for that cartridge.

I will be hunting native Texas elk with my 444T and the TLC432-265-RF and I think I will continue to pursue my whitetails with the 32 Win Spl and my TLC323-170-RF, I've come to really like the 336RC and the cartridge. My dad is still popping hogs with his M94 and the TLC311-165-RF and would not hunt any hoofed critter with anything else. Thank you for your continued support! Look for my hunting stories here!

Hello Ranch Dog, glad to hear all is well with you and that you are going to put your site back up. You can bet I will download all that for my archives as soon as it is up ! That 450-360 boolit is really nice, too bad Lee didn't get the cavity to size. Hope to beagle it up to size and try it in a few of my 45-70's.

Incidentally, for this of us who download and save such stuff, have a look at Snag It ( here http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/07/04/snagit-7-2-5-full-version-free-download-with-genuine-software-key-code/) its a freebie and does screen capture shots very easily, or "rolling" screen shots that will capture an entire article. I'm using it with XP and it is great.

Hi Ranch Dog, I'm new here but have read a whole lot about you and the molds with your name on them, glad to see your back and hope you and your family are doing well.

Thanks Ranch Dog. Glad to see you're getting ready to hunt.
I have one of the Lee Molds and I'm not sure why they had it. It drops em at .460 using WW's. Got some fins until I cleaned it up.

Great site BTW!
