What is the best way to conceal carry a colt trooper? Or is it not possible?

I carted around a 4" Trooper quite a bit some years ago. Much of the time, I used an inside-the-waistband holster carried at "4 o'clock", or a pancake holster at the same location. Not many of those kinds of holsters around any more (like in the 70s and 80s), but the Trooper has no flies on it as felon repellant--and they are almost Ruger-strong.

Anyone who says you can't carry a 4" revolver as a CCW item likely has a 2" revolver for sale. :)

When I've carried one it has always been either in an IWB holster or a pancake. I ALWAYS carry my gun in the same location. The Trooper Is a very sturdy revolver that should never cause you any problems.

I packed around a trooper mk 111 for a few years, never carried it concealed as it was my uniform side arm.Robert

I don't carry a Colt, but I do carry a S&W Model 27 5 inch in an IWB holster from Simply Rugged. It goes on when I want a change from my 1911.
