I cast and load for the 32 Long Colt , so I can shoot my 1892 Marlin. I already have Ideal mold #299153 . I would like to get mold #299155 , this is an 80 grain heel mold. Anybody got any ideas on where I can get one ?

I think Rapine still makes that general design. Also, look at the RCBS 310 Cadet mould. I'm not sure of the diameters, but it might be workable.

NEI Handtools makes a heel-base .32 Long Colt bullet. It is #78B. It is 0.313"OD, is 95grains, and is heel-base.

Cast Bullet Engineering has the largest selection of .32 Long Colt bullets. They have one in 92gr, one in 106gr, and one in 120gr. All are 0.315"OD and have a heel-base. It does not appear that the .310 Cadet bullets will work. The ones they list for this are 0.320"OD.

Does anyone happen to know what diameter the "heel" is?

I have some Dixie Gun Works brass (that uses 22 blanks) and it seems to require a heel of about 0.284". The brass is turned, so would not be friendly to flaring.

Anyone else use the Dixie brass?
