Hello,
This is Roger Caldwell's Wife, you just sent my husband a happy birthday
wish. First, let me thank you for that. Also let me thank you for the
enjoyment that my husband received from your Cast Bullet Publication., I am
not sure when the subscription runs out, but I would like to know. I've
been giving them to a friend of my husband's to enjoy. Rog loved reloading
and talking about his guns.

I'm saddened to tell you that my husband passed to heaven on May the
10th at 1:30 am. We found that he had an aneurysm on his aorta valve, and
it was pretty advanced as far as the condition, he passed away when they
were transferring him from his bed to the CAT scan table (this actually
happened twice in 12 hours, the second time they couldn't revive him). I
hope that your Cast Bullet publication continues to thrive, as I
know there are many who enjoy reloading as a hobby. I'd like to keep
getting the Cast
Bullet until Rog's subscription runs out. Just let me know what the renewal
date is. Thank you again, and especially for giving my husband so much
enjoyment through your magazine. Not sure if you knew but Roger was
paraplegic, had been for 17 years 2 months of our 18 year marriage -- and
his guns were his one real hobby since the others he couldn't manage to do
any longer.

Again, thank you for adding some inspiration, and enjoyment to my husband's
life through your publication, he always looked forward to reading it.

My best,

Mrs. Catherine Caldwell

Roger was not with us long here at Cast Boolits, but obviously he took the time to register and join us on the journey we are all on here, Roger was also a member of the CBA obviously so he took the hobby seriously and we owe it to him to mourn his passing here. RIP Roger. May you have a everlasting supply of Boolits, primers and powder and your favorite guns at the range in Heaven.

RIP Roger

I really cannot say how much that one touched me. So sorry to hear of Roger's passing. The Bible says that we will all have perfect bodies in heaven, I for one hope there is a good thousand yard range and some pre-1964 model 70's to go with that.

(As a former vocational rehabilitation counselor, I can tell you that women of the high character of Roger's wife are few and far between, [lucky for me, mine is one of them]. May God bless her and keep her in her loss.)

I had the oportunity to speak with Roger over the phone over the past winter on a CBA membership issue and I must say he was a extraordinary fellow. He will be sorely missed.
Good luck at that big range in the sky Rog, may all of your shots find the 10 ring.
