I recently bought 2 barrels for a handi-rifle. One was a 410/45 LC as they are out of 45 LC barrels. Gave it and a 44 mag barrel to a friend so he could put a scope base on the 410/45 LC. When they came back there was a 243 barrel in the mix. He said he left the 2 in a dark closet and they propagated. The 243 barrel fits my 308 ultra really nice. Now I have to work up loads for all 3 barrels. He got a M-44 7.62 x 54R out of the deal for doing the work for me. Mark

Handi-rifles have been known for those types of carrying on. They also put out a certain chemical scent that causes the owner to buy more.

So that explains how I will only admit to buying 4 handi rifles and have 23. Good to know how it all came about. Hope the next litter has a 7X57 or a 221 Fireball.

Do you think they will ever offer the 7x57 barrel again?
Have been holding my breath for years now and am getting a little blue in the face from waiting.
