A friend of mine is going to teach me how to cast bullets. All I have to do is get the proper mold, and a sizing die and top punch that will work with his lubrisizer. Apparently it is a Redding/SAECO.
I'm having trouble coordinating these items, and would like some recommendations.
I'm loading for a .45 Colt, to be used for metallic silhouettes in a Marlin 1984 rifle. I think the right bullet mold is for the Lyman #454190, which is a 250 grain round nose flat point.
My question is - which SAECO top punch should I use? I have a copy of the SAECO bullet chart, but nothing in SAECO's .45 caliber bullets looks like the Lyman.
Thank you for any help!
