Fellas, Who is casting for their Marlin 38-55s. I look over the selection of molds that will work, (most say .380 works best) and there is not much to choose from. What molds are you using and what is your diameter? LEE is the ony one I see that actually says .379.

.............Don't know if yours is a 336 or a 1893? Regardless, before looking for a mould you REALLY should slug the barrel. You mention the Lee slug, and my Lee mould drops a slug (WW alloy) that barely makes .380", but it works well in my 1893 which has a .380" groove. There are 3 other moulds that will do an excellent job, and are from a mainstream maker. These are Saeco moulds. I have the #638 (225gr) and #738 (255gr). Both are tapered FNPB designs. I don't have it, but have shot the #571 which is the same design as the other 2 but is 300grs.
