Not sure if anyone is still needing them but Wideners has Wolf in stock right now, most sizes and styles.

We have a steady supply of Wolf primers here also. One of my fellow cowboy shooters used them last week and had several FTF. But they did allow him to load and shoot.

I put in an order, I hear they are pretty reliable and the price is right.

I tell you what for being socialist, they sure see a capitalist venture when they see one. If they can keep the flow across the ocean up, they could make a killing themselves.

For those in and around Spokane,Wa., the White Elephant has primers. Too bad they are a retail outlet only and no internet sales, etc.

I found out a couple weeks ago my local Bass Pro has some. But they limit you to 400 at a time.

That worked for me as it allowed me to get up to about 1,000 large pistol.

I'm OK on large rifle and small pistol for awhile.

Don't load anything with small rifle.

I like to buy local to dodge the $22.50 hazmat fee.

I must confess as to being one that stocked up some (hoarded) and am still fine for most sizes. I'm waiting for the domestic brands to become available...

I could use some small rifle primers though.... and I have a feeling those will be the last ones to come back.

not sure what he was shooting, but with the lite girly loads used in the all show/no go type of shooting, the guys around here shoot mag primers to get a better lite on the lite loads...better ignition.....................and yes some of them are shooting wolf primers.

I have been shooting a lot of Wolfe primers and have had no problems with FTF. Mebbe the cowboy gun is tuned to the point that a harder primer dont fire reliably?

I bet that's it.

I used to shoot CAS several years ago and I shot 250 grian boolits at 800 fps from my 45 Colt Vaqueros and was still competitive and won the match from time to time. I'd probably not have a chance today with the gamers firmly entrenched.

Wolf primers are kinda soft... Kinda like winchester if I remember correctly. So a FTF was maybe just a couple of bad ones in the mix. I've personally never had a problem with Wolf. Every single one has gone boom. However, CCI I will no longer buy. I had about half of a blister pack fail on me once, and I decide to take the whole sleeve back.

I mainly shoot wolf primers, LP & SP. They always go bang. Not sure if Graffs still has SP Magtech primers. They were a little cheaper.
