My jerk of a brother..... picked this up at the local shop for $399.00... The owner let him take it home with $100.00 down. Still SUPER tight, no real wear. http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh83/dubber123/IMG_0037.jpg, http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh83/dubber123/IMG_0038.jpg, http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh83/dubber123/IMG_0043.jpg, http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh83/dubber123/IMG_0044.jpg

That wood and finish makes it look like an old one to me, it may be just the picture, but the lifter plate looks just like my pre 64'.

Nice looking rifle.

The Marlins have a lot of advantages, but when it comes to pure cool, Winchesters run rings around them.

Serial # on this one places it around 1947ish.

I just looked at one yesterday at a local gun shop, it was not near as nice. I about pased out when I saw the price tag $1700.00

That shop is always high but that is way off.

 Why are 94's so expensive around my neck of the woods? This is the second pre 64 I have seen for about $400 on this forum in the last 2 weeks. I can't get near ANY 94 for under $800 unless it is really, really used up.

Sorry, I'll go pout offline now.

Around here they go in streaks of being fair and you got to be kidding. What helped me is everyone wanted those darn black guns so I got two for around $450 each and an almost new maroku 92 for around $700.
